Hi, I’m Kim Williams – kids’ couturier, lover of all things pretty, and mama of two.
I make sweet, vintage-inspired clothes that children (and their parents) adore.
In fact, little fashionistas have been known to scream with excitement when they receive my designs in the mail. (Don’t say you weren’t warned!)
That’s why I founded I Bambini Clothing, an online children’s boutique that offers charming clothes for the well-dressed kid.
My original designs invoke the charm of yesteryear, with a focus on classic styles, whimsical colors, soft materials and detailed patterns.
The timeless look and quality of the collection means each piece will last well beyond one season and even when your child outgrows their precious I Bambini Clothing outfit, you’ll want to pass it on to relatives and friends for their kids to wear.
Most importantly, I Bambini Clothing is all about comfort, durability and easy care. My designs are made of super-soft materials, and many have an inner lining to minimize irritating seams or tags.
So even though my designs look like they should be saved for special occasions, your little one can enjoy them every day (because every day is special, right?).

When I first became a mom, I found shopping for children’s clothes both disappointing and frustrating. Too many designs lacked attention to detail or would fall apart after a few washes.
I just wanted to dress my tots in gorgeous clothes that would make them feel good AND stand up to the wear and tear of daily life – I didn’t think that was too much to ask.
It got me thinking about an enduring passion of mine…
You see, I’d always yearned to be a fashion designer, but I ended up pursuing a corporate career instead.
(Fun fact: while most girls in senior year got excited about prom because they wanted to be homecoming queen, I saw it as an opportunity to design stunning dresses. I sold five to my classmates – not bad, huh?)
Even though my parents owned a sewing company, they’d seen first-hand how difficult it was for designers to get a foothold in the fashion world, so they weren’t crazy about me going down that path.
My love of fashion never died though, and I spent much of my spare time drawing, illustrating and drooling over clothes (not literally, although my kids have been known to).
I decided it was time to rekindle my dream and start my own clothing line for kids. At the time my husband and I were living in Italy, and he suggested that I call my business ‘I Bambini’ (which means ‘the children’ in Italian).
And so my online boutique was born!
I now experience the daily thrill of creating beautiful clothes that make children giddy with joy.
My designs are exclusively sold online and, because they’re not mass produced, the chance of seeing the outfit you buy on another child is roughly 0.00003% (did I mention that I am also a business systems analyst?).
So whenever your little one puts on their original I Bambini Clothing creation, they’re guaranteed to stand out from the crowd.
I’m also committed to investing in domestic goods from start to finish, so each item is lovingly and diligently made in the USA from locally-sourced materials.
This means that whenever you make a purchase, you’re not only getting a quality item that’s made to last, you’re also fostering the local economy.
What else is there to know about me?
Well, when I’m not designing or running the day-to-day side of my business, you’ll probably find me cooking healthy meals for my family or watching football (Go Hawks!).
I’m also a military wife who moves a lot, so creating a sense of community wherever I go is important to me.
That’s why I started the I Bambini Clothing Facebook community for moms to connect and share their experiences raising a (fashionable) family. Grab a cuppa and come on over:
