DIY: Mason Jar Lid Pumpkins!
I found a super cute upcycle/DIY crafting project that can add some Autumn flair to any household. These would make excellent gifts in my opinion and I plan on making one for my office…if I ever get around to it! They seem to be easy enough to make and there are endless variations. They also do not need to be the traditional orange – I have seen silver, black, brown, teal, etc.
14 small or 20 regular mouth canning lids
Orange spray paint
3-4 cinnamon sticks
Spray paint the lids on each side until you reach the coverage you want.
When dry, string the lids onto the jute, making sure they all face the same direction. Tie the two ends of jute together in a double knot and cut the excess. Place the cinnamon sticks in the middle and adjust the spacing of the rings.
Some variations of the finished product:
What do you think about this project? Do you plan on making any for your Fall themed decorating and/or gift giving?
