Hands On Mother’s Day
Can you believe that summer is really almost here? Last weekend was the first weekend since last summer that I witnessed people wearing shorts in public. The weather is beautiful and summer activities are just around the corner.
Even sooner than summer is Mother’s Day! This Sunday is the day of celebration for all mothers. It has been an extra special day ever since I became a mother but it has always been a joy to let my mother and others who are great examples of motherhood know how amazing they are. I am looking forward to being able to do that again this year!
Sometimes the hardest thing for me to come up with are gifts from my kids to their grandmas. Pinterest helps tremendously with coming up with ideas. Do you have little ones and are struggling with ideas for gifts for the grandmas in their lives? Look no further. Here are six of the best crafts your kids can easily create for the loved and cherished women in their lives.
Flowers are always a great choice for Mother’s Day. Make a boutique extra special by putting them in a hand-painted mason jar with a photo of your children on it. Any grandmother would be thrilled with this extra thoughtful gift!

Have a grandma who loves to read? These personalized bookmarks would be a wonderful surprise for her!

Grandmothers love to look back and see how much their grandchildren have grown. Create this silhouette craft that they can use while watching the changes of their grandchildren that happen so quickly.

With these sweet satchels, grandmas can always have their grandchildren close to home and to their hearts.

Your children can help their grandma relax by helping you make homemade soap. Here is one recipe that sounds fantastic!

Lastly, you can make this a family activity that will be extra special for grandparents. Make a thumbprint family tree with your own fingerprints included.

Will you be using any of these ideas? I will be sharing what we did my kids’ grandma on Sensory Saturday so be sure to stay tuned!
Much love,
<3 Jamie
