Sensory Saturday: Fun with Flour
We have a super simple activity for you today! A little messy, but fast and engaging. If your kid loves a sandbox, this will be the perfect indoor activity for you!
If you have followed Sensory Saturday, you will know that my almost 2-year-old isn’t all that interested in the activities that we do. However, he is still at it with this activity and shows no signs of being bored! Do you know what that means? A few moments of peace and quiet for this mama. YES!
Here is what you need:
Flour of any kind (I used both white and rye)
Any other powder that is a different color (I used cocoa and coffee grounds)
Baking sheets
Cars or small toys
I did two separate trays for my two kids but you could do as many or as little as you would like. I didn’t even mix the ingredients, I just let them play. The big bonus is that it smells like chocolate and coffee in here!
Simple, right? And so much fun!
Are you going to try this activity? Be sure to check back in with us if you do!
Much love,
<3 Jamie
