HARK!

Have you read this article yet? “I’m sorry to all the mothers I used to work with.” It was one of those articles that I just couldn’t help but share once I had read it myself. I can only hope it is as eye-opening to others as it has been for me.

The article points out how unfair the workforce can be for mothers. We all know that it can be a hard world for working women but add the title of mother on top of that, and some companies/employers/employees do not think that woman is competent enough to perform her job well. However, as pointed out in the article, mothers tend to be more productive when they are working, even if they don’t put in as many hours.

Mothers, they can do it all, am I right?

But sometimes working outside of the home isn’t flexible enough for mothers and that is when they are presented with a choice. Continue working in a field that isn’t supportive to them, quit and stay home with the children, or work from home/create and run their own business.

That last option is one we want to focus on.

Soon we will be featuring momprenuers who have decided they would take their working fate into their own hands (and what capable hands they are!). We will be calling Mondays “Momprenuer Monday” and tell the story of a special momprenuer. We want to celebrate you and your business!

Please leave a comment or email us if you are interested in inspiring other women and spreading awareness about the other love of your life – your company.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Much love,
<3 Jamie
